No one in Kashmir should face their hardest day alone.

We help people who are homeless, fighting addiction, living with disability, or escaping abuse at home. Shelter, treatment, care, and someone who stays with you.

What happens when you ask for help

One message is enough. You do not need documents, money, or the right words.

  1. You reach us

Fill in our online form, send an email, or walk into our office in Srinagar. Someone can also ask on your behalf.

  2. We listen

A trained caseworker gets in touch the way you choose. No judgement, and nothing is shared without your consent.

  3. We connect you

A shelter bed, a rehab place, a doctor, a lawyer, a wheelchair. We arrange it and go with you if needed.

  4. We stay with you

Your caseworker keeps checking in for months, until you are back on your feet.

Why one organisation for four problems?

Because they rarely arrive alone. Addiction can cost someone their job and then their home. Abuse can leave someone injured for life. A family caring for a disabled child can be one emergency away from losing everything.

Help for each of these exists in Kashmir, but it is spread across hospitals, government offices, courts and charities. We bring it together, so one caseworker can look at the whole picture.

About the foundation
“I had stopped believing anyone would come. They came the same night.”

Bashir, 54, Srinagar. Slept in a bus shelter for three weeks in December.

A shopkeeper sent us a request about the man sleeping outside his shop. Our winter team brought Bashir to a shelter that night. His caseworker helped him replace his ID card, get treated for a chest infection, and find work at a bakery. Four months later he moved into a room of his own.

Give someone a way through

Your donation pays for shelter nights, treatment, wheelchairs and legal help. Zakat and Sadaqah are accounted for separately, and every rupee appears in our yearly report.

Give your time

Doctors, lawyers, drivers, cooks, teachers, students. If you live in Kashmir and can spare a few hours a month, there is a place for you.
